Dartmoor Country Holidays, also known as Magpie Leisure Park, has been developed under the supervision of the Bidder family for over 80 years. The Park lies in a wonderful position on the western edge of the Dartmoor National Park — an area of great natural beauty.
We pride ourselves on the number of customers who come back to us year after year. Our holiday lodges continue to be more and more popular and early booking is recommended especially at peak times. The park is also very popular with our customers who enjoy the camping and touring caravan facilities. We also welcome dogs on the site both in touring caravans and the holiday lodges (up to two per dwelling).
If you only have a look at one page on our website we recommend you look at the picture gallery. This will give you a feel for the options we offer holiday makers and give an insight into the park's beauty.
The only negative feedback about the website is that it does not do full justice to the beauty and quality of our facilities! So go on give it a try.
